Purdue University has streamlined the transcript ordering process through a partnership with Parchment, the leading credential service provider for educational institutions. Current and former students from all Purdue campuses—West Lafayette, Indianapolis, Purdue Northwest (formerly Calumet and North Central), Fort Wayne, and all Polytechnic Statewide locations—can request official transcripts online through Purdue’s Parchment Storefront.
For currently enrolled students, unofficial transcripts are readily accessible through myPurdue under the “Transcript & Grades” card. This provides a convenient way to monitor academic progress, verify grades, and share information with academic advisors. Former students, however, do not have access to unofficial transcripts and must order official documents through Parchment.
A critical clarification for those affiliated with Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University): transcript services for that institution are handled separately. Purdue Global students and alumni must contact the Purdue Global registrar’s office directly at registrar@purdueglobal.edu, as the main Purdue transcript system does not maintain their records. Beginning January 20, 2026, a fee of $10 per transcript applies to all requests from both current and former students. Third parties requesting transcripts on behalf of a student must provide signed authorization in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Parents seeking their dependent student’s transcript must submit recent tax forms demonstrating financial dependency.
What a Purdue Transcript Contains
By university regulation, a transcript “shall consist of a full and complete copy of the student’s academic record” . This includes all courses attempted, grades earned, credits completed, degree conferrals, academic honors, and any notations regarding academic standing.
